Abstract

Balochi language has a rich historical literature both prose and poerty. Balochi poetry has three eras. The first is classical which is called Ahdi Shairi. The second is Nem-Ahdi Shairi and the third is modern poetry, called Noken Shairi. This paper is an attempt to disscuss some poets from Koh e Slueman (Eastern Balochistan) belonging to Nem-Ahdi period of Balochi poetry. Futhremore, the paper wills disscuss the populart poertries of great Baloch poets like Jam Durok, Mast Tawakali, Jawansal Bugti, Rahm Ali Marri and Chagha Buzdar.
