Abstract

Balochi letter writing started after the publication of the first monthly Balochi magazine ‘ómán’. The Baloch writers contributed in the said montlly by writing letters to the editor. Several types of letters were written by the Baloch literay people but the most common type among them was literary letters written to the editors of various magazines and journals. This paper focuses on the fundamental rules of letter writing and the style and experiences of letter writing in Balochi.
