Abstract

Simile is a branch of Ilm Ul Bayan which is used to describe something as another thing in terms of a certain attribute. Simile is the name of mutual similarity between two things. This similarity is expressed through a word in poetry. Instead of directly describing something, if it is compared to something, the poem becomes beautiful. Munir Momin has used simile in his Ghazals in a very good manner and
according to lyrical harmony.
